These terms govern your use of Dewy Golf (the "App"), operated by Dewy Golf, LLC. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Using the App
Dewy Golf is a personal golf scorecard app. You may use the App for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App.
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its backend services.
- Use automated means to access or scrape the App.
Accounts
Some features require a Dewy Golf account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
Round data, scores, and notes you enter in the App are yours. You grant Dewy Golf a limited license to store and sync this data as necessary to provide the service. We do not claim ownership over your content.
Subscriptions and payments
Dewy Golf may offer paid features via auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. All billing is handled by Apple — Dewy Golf does not process or store payment information. Subscription management and cancellation is done through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.
Accuracy of golf data
Dewy Golf uses computer vision and GPS to assist with automatic scoring. While we work hard to keep it accurate, automatic detection may occasionally miss or miscount strokes. You are responsible for verifying your scores, especially for any official, competitive, or handicap-submission purposes. Dewy Golf is not liable for scoring errors.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the App is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dewy Golf and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Intellectual property
The App, its design, graphics, and all related materials are owned by Dewy Golf or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Dewy Golf name and logo are trademarks of Dewy Golf, LLC.
Our golf course database — including course layouts, hole data, yardages, and related geographic information — is proprietary data owned exclusively by Dewy Golf, LLC. This data is licensed solely for use within the App to support your personal rounds. Any attempt to scrape, extract, copy, reproduce, or otherwise obtain this data by automated or manual means, or to use it for any purpose beyond playing your own game within the App, is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these terms. Dewy Golf will actively pursue all available legal remedies against any individual or entity that violates this provision.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the App evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes through the App or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
