Chip Shots - April 25th, 2025

Colorado is starting to warm up, but is as unpredictable as ever. We have had cool-to-warm days, but in the past 24 hours have turned to a light drizzle. As we head into a full swing of spring I am looking forward to longer days, earlier course hours and getting to play as much golf as possible this season.
This week has been skills practice focused as I only have a few hours here and there to get out.
To this week's articles.
Enjoying the game is critical, it's why we come back to it frequently. Playing from the correct tees for you is a great start. Choose the correct tees, not ego.

I am not always on the green in two, sometimes I overshoot and get to practice hitting out of the rough.

Once on the dance floor it's time to slow down, focus on precision so I can finish a hole strong.

My drive has taken years to craft, starting with cheating the club to avoid a slice, and working on my consistency so I was on the fairway most of the time.

Honestly, this is some of my favorite shots. I love a good bump and run, getting on the green with control and a little pop.

Thank you for reading, see you next week for more golf!
